Chanel Two Toned Black/Beige Flats

Another new addition to my growing shoe collection. I do believe that purchasing luxury items overseas is much more affordable due to the strong Aussie Dollar and we get the benefit of getting our VAT back in European countries. Many thanks to M for purchasing these on my behalf in Spain!

Last week, A and I caught up over brunch at Bills and went to see The Art of the Brick exhibition at Sydney Townhall. The exhibition was intriguing and bought back memories of childhood lego-playing days.

I just realised that the outfit in M's last post is practically identical to my outfit in this post! We did both purchase the same shorts from the Alice Mccall sale last week hehe..

Miss Unkon shirt, Alice McCall shorts, Salvatore Ferragamo flats, All That Glitters Necklace & Belt, Alexander Wang Diego Bag, Michael Kors watch
Happy New Year! I seem to have been stuffing my face with way too much food these past two days. Went to China Doll today for dinner with my family and it really has to be one of my favourite restaurants. The food was great and the mocktails were really yummy! Will be going to the States and London on Sunday and I can't wait to go on another shopping trip with my sister. Winter here we come!

 Lover's AW12 Collection 'Lydia'

My top picks for Lover's upcoming AW collection. Loving the lace and peter pan collar combinations. Guess it's time to save up again!

  1. Went to Ms G's a few weeks ago with C and R. The mini burger things are actually suppose to be Vietnamese rolls, they were really good with crispy pork belly and chicken. The dessert shown is called Stoner's Delight which consisted of a honey coated bacon strip and home made doughnut ice cream along with other interesting flavours.
  2. To celebrate M's return from her holiday, we had dinner at Toko in Surry Hills. The food was good but came in very small portions and the meal was on the pricey side.
  3. Had a seafood feast at the Fish Markets with J and Q.
  4. Spent a day with A at Chatswood, shopping at Daiso and eating desserts at ZenQ. The dessert pictured is called Mango Danish which was quite nice but way too much for one person to finish!
  5. Finally got the chance to try Holy Basil's fried ice cream. Definitely the best fried ice cream I've ever tasted!
I'm posting about food for a change since I've been too busy working. The girls and I have complied a list of restaurants that we want to try and above are some that we have crossed out of our list.
M's return means that I received a nice present which I shall post about soon!

Topshop shirt, paperheart sheer skirt, MBMJ bag, Chanel sandals, Rayban wayfarers
Choc fondue
Henna
Burj Khalifa
Wild Wadi water park
Ski Dubai
Indoor snow field!
Arrived back in Sydney on Monday morning on a flight that was later than expected. Our original flight was overbooked but we received complimentary roundtrip tickets to Dubai as compensation. Will definitely consider going there again, after all you can enjoy Summer and Winter in one day. On our last day in Dubai, we managed to go to Wild Wadi, a water theme park and Ski Dubai and an indoor ski field in the Mall of the Emirates. I had such a great time and experienced the warm and the cold, it was quite eye-opening!

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Abu Dhabi)

Matching!
Camel (Abu Dhabi heritage village)
Rayban wayfarers, papeheart top, Forever 21 leggings, Chanel sandals
Dubai: city of gold
Laduree macarons
My first two days in Dubai have been amazing! Everything here is bigger and better. Dubai is home to the biggest shopping mall, the biggest fountain, the tallest building, beautiful beaches, amazing hotels and even an indoor snow field! Dubai Mall was eye-opening, unlike any shopping centre i've ever seen and truly a shopaholic's heaven.

  1. Spending Christmas Eve with my favourite people A & K
  2. Driving around in search of pretty Christmas decorated houses
  3. We found a massive Santa!
  4. Christmas Day annual tradition of exchanging presents whilst yumcha-ing at Zilver
  5. After yumcha we headed to Observatory Hotel for our day spa treatments, I chose a La Prairie facial and a Volcanic massage with hot stones. This Polaroid was taken after our treatments so we look very fresh and clean haha.
  6. Presents from myself to myself. I think I spent way too much on presents this year.
  7. Presents from A & K. K got me the Nintendo DSi and now I've been obsessively playing Pokemon Black like a loser. A got me the Q-Pot Minnie Mouse Melty ring, Chanel nail polish and cute blind boxes.
Wishing everyone a super belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

La Sagrada Familia (Barcelona)
So beautifully wrapped!
Wow i didn't realise that our last post has been over two weeks ago! I guess we both have been a little preoccupied with work and the holiday period. I headed off to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal on the 23rd, endured a 30 hour trip (including connecting flights to Dubai and Paris) and never felt so happy to leave the airport and actually sleep on a bed! After a few days in Portugal, we made our way to different parts of Spain (Sevilla, Malaga, Toledo, Segovia, Madrid, Zaragoza and Barcelona). There are just too many stories and places to describe so i've filled this post with photos of the highlights of my trip so far.

We also managed to get a little shopping done in Barcelona. Will post more about everything soon! Next stop: Dubai!
